Permission Requests

May I use content from your website for educational purposes? — Yes, you may copy and paste articles, interviews, reviews, and commentary (but not photos, see below) from this site for use in classroom presentations, students projects and reports, etc., provided that 1) the work is not altered, and 2) it's fully credited to Scott London with a link to the original page.

May I republish written content from your site on my blog or not-for-profit website? — Not in its entirety, but you're welcome to use extended quotes up to a maximum of 300 words, so long as they are fully credited to Scott London and include a link to the original page.

May I use your writing in a book, or in a printed or online magazine? — Yes, my work is available for use in books and magazines. Please contact jennifer@scottlondon.com to discuss specifics.

Image Usage, Licensing, and Prints

May I use images from your website for educational purposes?— Yes, you may copy and paste images from this site for use in classroom presentations, students projects and reports, etc., provided 1) the photos are not altered and 2) they are fully credited to Scott London.

May I use images from your site on my blog or not-for-profit website? — Yes, you may copy and paste images from this site for use online provided 1) that they are not altered in any way, 2) that they are fully credited to Scott London, and 3) that they include a link to this site. Images may not be used on a company or for-profit website for any reason without permission.

May I use your images in a printed book or magazine? — My work is available in high resolution for this purpose. Please contact jennifer@scottlondon.com to discuss.

May we license your photos for commercial usage? — Some of my images are available for commercial use for special projects. Other photos (such as the Burning Man portfolio) may not be used for commercial purposes. Please contact jennifer@scottlondon.com for more details.

Do you offer high-resolution downloads of your images for personal use? — No.

May I purchase a print of one of your images? — I'm sorry but I don't offer prints of my work at this time.

Photography

Can I hire you as a photographer? — Thank you for your interest. I'm primarily a photojournalist, which means that my photography revolves around editorial assignments and creative projects. But I do occasional portrait work and event photography, as time permits. Please contact jennifer@scottlondon.com to discuss your needs.

Can I intern with you, assist you on a photoshoot, or watch you at work? — Thank you, but I'm not accepting any new interns, assistants, or guests at the moment.

Speaking Engagements, Media Queries, and Interviews

Do you accept invitations to give lectures and presentations? — Yes, I speak regularly on a range of subjects. I'm available for public and private speaking engagements, workshops, campus visits, and educational presentations, as my schedule permits. Reviews and Sponsorships

Do you accept books and products for review? — While I still accept occasional requests from the editors of newspapers, magazines and scholarly journals, I'm no longer actively writing reviews.
