ONE MEDAL, TWO REFLECTIONS. At the new Peace Center, a Nobel medal is displayed in a cleverly-designed case with angled mirrors offering views of the two sides as well as the engraving on the edge (which bears the name of Christian Lange who received the peace prize in 1921). Designed by Gustav Vigeland, the solid gold medal weighs 200 grams, or almost a half-pound.
