I’m a longtime Canon photographer. I started using Canon’s professional 5-series DSLRs as my primary cameras nearly two decades ago. In 2020, I transitioned to Canon’s excellent R-series mirrorless cameras. When out in the field, I often work with a pair of R5s, one on each shoulder.

I have an assortment of Canon’s L-series lenses. I rely heavily on zooms when on assignment or at events, especially the 15-35mm f/2.8, the 24-70mm f/2.8, and the 70-200 f/2.8. But I always prefer shooting with primes if possible. I especially love Canon’s 35mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.2, and 135mm f/2.

For more demanding projects, I work with Fujifilm’s GFX 50S and 100S medium format cameras. They are less rugged and user-friendly than my trusty Canons but produce images of exceptional resolution, color and dynamic range.

As a certified drone pilot, I use DJI Mavic Pros for aerial photography and video.

I continue to work with film on occasion and have a special place in my heart for my old Canon EOS-1N SLR. I still love shooting with Kodak Portra and Tri-X as well as Fujicolor Pro 160S, 400H and Superia films.

Of course, ask me anything. You can reach me at info@scottlondon.com.
